On May 9 Aleya Moore(12) set the record for the most stolen bases in a season at Lanphier. The previous record was 26 by Amanda Kockis(in 1997). Aleya got 28 stolen bases.

This year, the Lanphier Drama Club, led by Mr. Loren Wilson, is putting on the play “The Curious Savage” by John Patrick. The show will be performed on April 27 and 28 at 7p.m. and April 29 at 2p.m. The show will be at the Legacy Theatre, and information about buying tickets can be found at the bottom of this article. Seating will be on a first-come, first-serve basis, and the doors will open 30 minutes prior to the show.
“Take Your Child to Work Day,” which is officially called “Take Our Daughters and Sons to Work Day,” is a day when children are taken to work with their parents to see what they do for a living. This holiday is celebrated in the United States, Canada, and Australia, and this year, in the United States, it falls on April 26.
On Saturday, April 21, from one to five, there is an Earth Awareness Fair at the Old State Capitol.
